More Scenes from Snowflake Lane

Yesterday I showcased the drummers from Snowflake Lane and today I will attempt to prove that our family was actually in attendance too!

(Grainy pics due to low light. Embrace the grain.)

Finding a corner amongst the crowds. The Rambunctious One is not pictured because she's on my shoulders.

Hey, look! It's snowing!!

Drummers at Snowflake Lane

The day after Thanksgiving, we kicked off our festive feelings of the 2009 Christmas season by heading to Bellevue Square to watch the show they put on called Snowflake Lane.

I'll post more scenes from the show, but the drummers are the biggest part of the production, so we're devoting a post to some pics of the drum-drum-drummers.

(Sorry for the grainyness - shot these at really high ISO because so little light.)

Molen 2009 Christmas Letter

It's Christmas Eve, and before I head out to brave the hustle-bustle one last time, I hope you'll take a quick moment to read the Molen 2009 Christmas Letter. It's on Facebook, so if you're not my FB friend, ask yourself, why not??

Click on the image below (or here) to get the FULL story.

Looking at Christmas Lights

One of our favorite family traditions is to pile into the MolenMobile (minivan), sipping yummy hot cocoa (thank you Patty!) and go look at Christmas lights. We especially love those that are synchronized to music and play on a radio station in your car. I admire (and worry about the sanity of) those who spend days setting those things up.

If you live in the Seattle area and want a couple to visit, try this one in Woodinville and another in Bothell.

The SuperDorks

Okay, so this isn't my normal post, but the Boy drew this during Church and I think he's onto something here. Maybe a new comic series or action movie. If you know anyone in "the biz" please let them know that the Super Dorks is available for licensing...at a price...

New Moon

I haven't posted anything "newish" in so long, but there's a good reason. I'm just NOW recovering from the inevitable pneumonia that results from standing in line in the cold for hours for New Moon on the opening night (ok, that's not true but it WAS cold!)

Didn't have the camera of AWESOMENESS with me, so these are from a little point-and-clicker that we had. After all, there was no room for a big camera when trying to smuggle in 8 pounds of candy.

I'll catch up with some other "real" photos in the near future, but for now, I've gotta post something!

You should have heard the sharp intake of breath that came from these three when Jacob took off his shirt for the first time...

With Edward around her neck, and me by her side, she's ready to watch the movie.
